Bloober Team, the studio behind The Medium and the upcoming Silent Hill 2 remake have unveiled in their latest financial report that they are working on 2 new games, with one being a new IP.

The first game, codenamed Project C is a new IP and they have partnered with Private Division (which is owned by Take-Two Interactive) for the deal. It will be the first original IP for the studio that they fully own. While not many details are given Bloober Team said the following in its report:

“Project C, which we are working on together with Private Division (Take-Two Interactive), is currently well advanced, and we are very pleased with the current progress”

“This will be the next big step of Bloober Team in order to implement a long-term strategy. It will also be the first original project (IP belongs to Bloober Team) as part of the new strategy.”

The report would go on to say that they plan to unveil the game later on this year and that they “can’t wait to show the effect of [its] work on this unique title”.

The second, codenamed Project R is a game based on an IP owned by Skybound Game Studios, the company most known for the Walking Dead series. Again not much is known other than they expect to premiere it in 2025.

“The Issuer concluded on December 20, 2023, a licensing and publishing agreement with Skybound Game Studios […] under which the Issuer was granted a license to create a game based on the IP owned by Skybound, which will be used as part of the production of the Issuer’s new project codenamed Project R’,” Bloober told its shareholders.

It’s clear Bloober Team has a lot on their plate in 2024 and beyond with Silent Hill 2 remake hopeful to release this year as well as these new projects. We will all be interested to see what they have up their sleeve.
