After teasing everyone a few days ago and setting the internet ablaze with speculation, Warhorse Studios had officially unveiled Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 today
Unveiled privately last week and today to the public the game is confirmed to be much bigger than the first. The game is set to have 5 hours of cutscenes and a story that is "much more epic". The story will pick up where the original left off with protagonist Henry and his companion Sir Hans Capon.
The story is set in Kuttenberg, a real life city that's mentioned in the first game but never travelled to. The world is so big it's "too big even" according to the creative director Daniel Vavra.
Other details include a notoriety system in which NPC's will call out Henry if he gets a reputation for things such as thieving or drinking. Once Henry gets to a higher level he can "save the world" or "punish it for it's sins"
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will be developed on CryEngine and is currently scheduled for a 2024 release date on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and PC.
