Saber Interactive Leaving Embracer Group

As first reported by Bloomberg yesterday, Saber Interactive, the developers behind the upcoming Warhammer Space Marines 2 is leaving the troubled Embracer Group to go private in a deal reportedly worth $500 million.

Considering the issues that have been going on with Embracer group of late with multiple studios being shut down including Volition and Free Radical Design, we are glad to see a team go independent rather than be shuttered.

It is also unclear at this time if the Knights Of The Old Republic Remake that Saber was working on will continue to be in development or not as no update was given.
