One game that a few of us here at the GSC have been looking forward to is TANUKI: Pon’s Summer, a charming-looking open-world life sim game. You play as the titular Pon, a tanuki who works part-time at the post office to help restore the town’s shrine in time for the big Tanuki Festival at the end of the month. We were so excited to play as this cute lil guy, delivering packages, making friends, and repairing the shrine, that we just had to check out the achievement/trophy list for TANUKI: Pon’s Summer to see what activities await!
The TANUKI: Pon’s Summer achievement list, which was revealed first on TrueAchievements, consists of 43 achievements, totalling 1000G. There are no secret achievements, so no fear of spoilers!

Unsurprisingly, much of the list is made up of delivering post to and helping the island’s inhabitants and restoring the shrine to its former glory, but a few side activities offer some gameplay variety. While we look forward to collecting all of the fish and insects to unlock King Angler and Net King achievements, respectively, the idea of being titled Undisputed BMX World Champion! for clearing all BMX challenges as a cute tanuki sounds like the best thing ever!
TANUKI: Pon’s Summer releases on November 10th across PC, PlayStation 4 & 5, XBOX Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and Switch 2. A demo is available now on PC via Steam.
