If it’s been a while since you’ve been to New York Comic Con, or you’ve never been, it might surprise you to hear the convention has more than just comics. In recent years, there has been a growing focus on video games and the ability to get hands on with a variety of games. One such company has had a consistently strong lineup in their time at NYCC and this year is proving to be no different. Bandai Namco will be bringing four playable demos to the show floor alongside giveaways and photo opportunities for those who visit.
ACE COMBAT 8: WINGS OF THEVE
For those looking to take to the skies, ACE COMBAT 8: WINGS OF THEVE will have a demo available for players. Those get hands on with this demo will also receive a lanyard and exclusive clip while supplies last. ACE COMBAT 8: WINGS OF THEVE is available now in early access and the full release is October 2nd 2026. Line up for your chance to play at the Bandai Namco booth #2319.
DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 3
The Dragon Ball universe continues on in the upcoming DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 3. Set 200 years after the events of Dragon Ball Z, you’ll create your own character who is one of the Time Patrollers. They are a group of people who go back to fix any changes in the timeline. Toriyama was heavily involved in the story and world building so it’s safe to say fans should look forward to this one. Fans looking to play the demo should visit the Dragon Ball booth #2341.
GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT
GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT is a fast paced melee combat action game scheduled to release March 5, 2027. Players can be some of the first to try out the public demo and control the Gundam Helix. There will also be a photo opportunity with the Gundam Helix statue and giveaways while supplies last. This can also be found at the Bandai Namco booth #2319.
Hello Kitty Party Land
Looking for something a bit more low-key from Bandai Namco? Want a bit more fun and party in your life? Hello Kitty has you covered with Hello Kitty Party Land. The demo is expected to be about 15 minutes of game time. During this time you’ll get to create your character, preview many of the mini games, and see some of your favorite Sanrio characters. Those who play the demo will receive a Sanrio character lanyard while supplies last. Enjoy this party land at the Bandai Namco booth #2319 before it releases on October 29, 2026.
PAC-MAN Panel
PAC-MAN may not have a game for those who arrive at the booth, but he will still be making an appearance. While at the Bandai Namco booth, convention goers can view animated shorts starring PAC-MAN and Team Ghost at the PAC-MAN: Snack Breaks area.
Those in attendance on Friday can also catch the PAC-MAN: Snack Breaks – Behind-the-Scenes of the New Animated Series with Exclusive Screening from 3 – 3:45 PM. Those who attend will get a behind the scenes look at the series, hear from the creators and voice cast, and be the first to see the WAKA-WEEN episode of PAC-MAN: Snack Breaks. There will also be giveaways while supplies last during the panel.
Bandai Namco always makes a great appearance at the convention and it seems this year will be no different.
