Ni No Kuni Spinoff Bloomwalker Gets A New Trailer At Tokyo Game Show

First revealed a year ago, Bloomwalker got another look today during the Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2026 showcase. The game is set in the same world as the Ni No Kuni franchise but, unlike those games, Bloomwalker is not an RPG.

Check out the Bloomwalker TGS 2026 trailer below.

Bloomwalker will be a cozy adventure game with survival and crafting mechanics, but survival isn’t the name of the game here. In Bloomwalker, your task is to heal the world rather than survive it. After a meteor struck, causing a blight to spread and poison the land of Luminoa, you’re tasked with cleansing the world with the help of your mobile house. While the structure seems small on the outside, when the door opens, the interior is revealed to be quite large, and as you heal the world, the house will expand even more.

Outside of the mobile house, you’re also aided by higgledies, tiny nature spirits that fans of Ni No Kuni II will recognize. As your bonds with the higgledies grow, they’ll unlock new crafting formulas to help you on your journey.

I personally think everyone needs a good no-conflict game to play now and again. Juggernaut games like Minecraft prove how effective they can be, along with games like Slime Rancher and recent gems like Beastro. Perhaps, with its Studio Ghibli-esque visuals and its ties to a great RPG series, Bloomwalker can be a no-conflict game to remember.

There’s no release date for Bloomwalker just yet, but it’s planned for a launch on Xbox Series platforms, PC, and PlayStation 5. It will also be available day one with Xbox Game Pass.

A lifelong gamer who enjoys playing on every platform. Eventually, I grew to love fighting games in particular and began to compete and even win competitions for some games, primarily the 2013 revival of killer instinct. Outside of gaming I also have aspirations of being a comic book artist with a few ideas of my own im developing in my head. When reviewing any game I try to keep my mind open and avoid nitpicking too much. It takes a lot for something to detract me from truly enjoying it so I may not focus on smaller details the way some others might do. I enjoy almost any genre, just don't ask me to play horror games or puzzle games.
