“First they take the games, then they give you more games” – some caricature of an Italian mob boss. Hold on to your hats, as the first announcement for September 2026 in XBOX Game Pass has arrived!
I suppose the biggest title in the announcement is Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, which I had a lot of fun with back in 2020 when it released.
Alongside CoD: BLOPS CW, there’s a couple of day one releases too, including Speedrunners 2: King of Speed and Runescape: Dragonwilds which sees its console release on 15 September 2026. This wave also includes the previously announced Shelldiver which was added on 1 September 2026.
