We’re still in the thick of all of the announcements and news coming out of Germany at this year’s Gamescom. At yesterday’s Future Games Show at Gamescom, we got a new look at an upcoming title from the minds at Glee-Cheese Studio. A quirky looking game titled MR. RECORDS.
The vibes of MR. RECORDS are truly something to behold. It is such a unique, and at times, psychedelic art style that I am 100% here for. This new gameplay trailer shows the bizarre dichotomy of what this game promises to be.
By day, we simply run a small record shop. Our days will be filled with getting to know the locals and finding them the albums that they’re keen to buy. The shop itself will also be loaded with puzzles, stories, and riddles to unfold.

By night/via the memories of George (Mr. Records), we’ll embark in a series of out-of-this world rhythm games. These adventures will feature musical styles that will span all genres from funk and progressive rock to hip-hop and 80s pop.

I truly cannot put my finger on it, but MR. RECORDS’ artistic style gives me vibes from games like Thank Goodness You’re Here! It’s unique, it’s quirky, and I am all about it! Even though…I have the rhythm of an out-of-tune piano.
