XBOX is going big this year at Gamescom with a large booth and 2 days worth of shows highlighting games. Another thing they are doing is announcing pre-orders for their anticipated XBOX 25th anniversary collection are opening today.
In one of many posts heading to the XBOX Wire today, XBOX announced that beginning today select XBOX users will be receiving emails to pre-order the 25th anniversary Xbox Series X console and controller. Pre-orders will then open up to everyone in select markets tomorrow, August 27th at 10am EDT on their local Xbox Store.
The price of the Xbox Series X25 Limited Edition console will be $899USD. The green translucent console is one of the best looking consoles XBOX has produced and celebrates 25 years of XBOX. The console will also come with a download code for the recently released Halo: Campaign Evolved.
Every XBOX Series X25 Limited Edition console is individually numbered with a unique engraving, making it a must have for any XBOX collector. The console will launch November 20th.
Limited Edition 25th Anniversary Controller
Pre-orders are also opening up for the limited edition X25 special edition controller. This controller, which features the same translucent green face as the console, will likely be the more popular item here due to its price point. The controller is available to pre-order now for everyone. The price here in Canada is $99.99 which is a bit cheaper than previous limited edition controllers from XBOX. The controller will release October 20th.
