gamescom Opening Night Live was full of very exciting single player titles this year, with the likes of Metro 2039, The Witcher 3 and many more. Perhaps Geoff Keighley is still slightly anxious of featuring multiplayer titles given the disastrous announcement and resulting like of Highguard.
However, one multiplayer game that featured at ONL will be met with instant fan delight. Stage Tour is bringing back the Guitar Hero and Rock Band formula with a multiplatform release in December this year. Including brand new accessories for purchase including a new guitar, microphone and drum kit – all of which you can see in the trailer below – that will rekindle those Rock Band party nights in the late-2000s:
Revealed to the legendary rock track, Kickstart My Heart by the Motley Crew the gamescom trailer confirms that the game will feature an extensive tracklist, many in-game guitars including some from Gibson, and over 50 characters to include in your band. The game and hardware is available to pre-order from the official Stage Tour website.
