PlayStation has revealed the new titles coming to the Extra and Premium tiers of PS Plus for August, and we’ve got some heavy hitters this month!
Announced via the official PlayStation Blog, here are the games being added to PS Plus Extra and Premium from August 12th:
PS Plus Extra Games
- Helldivers 2 – PS5
- Kingdom Come: Deliverance II – PS5
- Vampire Survivors – PS5, PS4
- Hell is Us – PS5
- Umamusume Pretty Derby – Party Dash – PS4
- Two Point Museum – PS5
- Metro Exodus – PS5, PS4
- Dying Light 2: Stay Human – Reloaded Edition – PS5, PS4
The PS Plus Extra tier additions might be the strongest lineup we’ve seen this year, and it kicks off with the critically acclaimed and hugely successful Helldivers 2, already available for fans new and old to set up their stratagems, jump in a Hell Pod, and fight the good fight for Super Earth!
On August 18th, Kingdom Come Deliverance II, one of the greatest Western RPGs ever made, and Vampire Survivors, the game that started the Survivors-like trend, will land on the Extra tier. There is also a second wave of titles landing on August 25th, but these appear to be exclusive to the US, UK, and Japan at the time of reporting. Subscribers to the Extra tier can look forward to anime horsegirl racing with Umamusume Pretty Derby – Party Dash, charming museum management in Two Point Museum, grim FPS action in Metro Exodus, and surviving a zombie outbreak using your parkour skills in Dying Light 2: Stay Human Reloaded Edition.
Hell Is Us, the atmospheric third-person action-adventure game and one of our nominees for Game of the Year 2025, will also be landing on August 25th, and we highly recommend you check it out!
PS Plus Premium Games
- Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams – PS5, PS4
- Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire – PS5, PS4
With the release of Onimusha: Way of the Sword in just a matter of weeks, it seems fitting that PlayStation would bolster the Premium tier game library with a game from the series. In Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams, you play as Soki, the Oni of the Ash, as he battles the demons of Genma, so expect the classic fantastical samurai adventure the series is well known for.
Originally released back on the PlayStation 1, Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire joins the Premium game library with several enhancements, including up-rendering, rewind, quick save, and custom video filters. Lead Milo and his crew on their search for the secrets of The Lost Empire, and show some love to an often-overlooked Disney classic.
