During the THQ Nordic Digital Showcase 2026 we got the reveal of the first DLC for REANIMAL, Tarsier Studios’ twisted co-op cinematic platformer, called The Prisoner. It is the first of three DLCs included in the REANIMAL Season Pass, and it is available on PC, PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2 right now!

This new chapter features two new playable characters, The Soldier and The Prisoner, trying to survive a war-torn place that was once familiar to them. Players will get to explore unseen parts of REANIMAL’s world as they tumble deeper down the rabbit hole, and discover that “while war can be hell, some things are worse.”
The trailer shows off various new locations and terrifying situations, from speeding subway trains to semi-demolished city streets laden with traps. A suited figure wielding a flamethrower features quite prominently, no doubt to drive home the trailer’s message that “some things have to burn.”
Offering fans another 60-90 minutes of harrowing sights and experiences, The Prisoner DLC is available now on PC, PS5, XBOX Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch, and is included in the REANIMAL Season Pass, but can also be bought separately.
