The College Football season is right around the corner. And while we might be a few weeks away from that yet, College Football 27 has been in full swing for a month now. As EA continues to work on the game, we have new information regarding a title update dropping tomorrow (August 6th).
The newest title update, the third since the game launched, is bringing quite a few changes and updates to College Football 27. The developers have been listening to players’ feedback and are continuously looking to make the game even better. This specific update brings many tweaks to the gameplay.
One of the biggest requests the teams have seen so far has been pancake blocks happening far too frequently. They are addressing this, both by having pancake blocks happen less frequently and also by adjusting the coaches and their play calling.

In fact, a lot of tomorrow’s updates seem to revolve around coaching. They are adding new plays to select playbooks and are fine tuning how some coaches call a game, whether they are a more aggressive coach or a more conservative one. On top of these changes, they are also adding new coaches, none bigger than Coastal Carolina’s new Offensive Coordinator Nick Petrino.
New Look & Feel Of Games
Another big addition coming with this update is how things look and feel on the field. New crowd themes for many colleges are coming as well as new mascots, traditions and uniforms. These might be small things to some, but if you are a fan of any of these colleges you are sure to want your team suited up in your favourite uniforms.
The developers have also teased that in a future update just before Week 0 in the college season they will be adding new players to dynasty. Having updated rosters in a sports game is such an important feature and College Football 27 will make sure to stay on top of things.
These are just some of the changes coming with tomorrow’s update. It really is a lengthy list of changes which you can see the full list here. See you out on the field!
