Developer Steel Mantis have announced that their upcoming sequel to Slain: Back from Hell, Slain 2: The Beast Within will also be coming to XBOX Series X|S and PlayStation 5 consoles alongside its PC (Steam) release. A release date is still TBC but we know that the game will arrive in 2026.
With gorgeous pixel art, plenty of gore and one hell of a metal soundtrack, the new trailer announcing the console versions showcasing the games bloody combat and Prince Akran’s transition to a vicious werewolf:
In the sequel, “the battle rages on against the tyrannical, demonic forces of Lord Vroll. Players step into the heavy-metal-soaked boots of Prince Akran, the last of the legendary Wolf Knights. Armed with the iconic, sentient blade Bathoryn, Akran must navigate a dying world, searching for sacred relics to push back the creeping abyss.”
