Mouse P.I. For Hire Adds Level Select Option In Latest Update

Mouse PI for Hire

Mouse P.I. For Hire, the cartoony first-person shooter developed by Fumi Games, is finally getting one of its most requested options in its most recent update. Players new and returning will be able to use a level select option to replay levels.

On top of the level selector, other upgrades being added are uncapped VRR support, full ultra wide and super ultra wide support for PC monitors, enhancements to the weapon wheel, improved controller rebinding and more, along with various bug fixes and stability improvements. Check out the v1.2.0 Update announcement for the full list of fixes, updates, and additions being added to PC, PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2.

Mouse P.I. For Hire is a great game, but as we highlighted in our review, one of its few drawbacks was the lack of a level select. The game has side quests, weapons, and collectibles that are missable, and not being able to go back to collect those did take away from the game’s replay value.

Mouse was one of the most fun games of the year for me, but starting everything from scratch to 100%, the game wasn’t a desirable choice. This update should give gamers who beat the game more reason to go back to it.

MOUSE P.I. For Hire is available on PC, PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2.

A lifelong gamer who enjoys playing on every platform. Eventually, I grew to love fighting games in particular and began to compete and even win competitions for some games, primarily the 2013 revival of killer instinct. Outside of gaming I also have aspirations of being a comic book artist with a few ideas of my own im developing in my head. When reviewing any game I try to keep my mind open and avoid nitpicking too much. It takes a lot for something to detract me from truly enjoying it so I may not focus on smaller details the way some others might do. I enjoy almost any genre, just don't ask me to play horror games or puzzle games.
