Just because Summer Games Fest Showcase season is over, gaming news and highlights does not stop. This is especially true for Capcom who have announced a Spotlight for Thursday, June 25, 2026. The Spotlight will focus on one already released game, an upcoming DLC, and an upcoming release. If you haven’t watched the teaser trailer, are you able to guess the games on the lineup?
Thursday’s Spotlight line up will focus on Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen, and Onimusha: Way of the Sword. Capcom has not given details on exactly what they are highlighting for each title. Capcom has had an amazing year with their titles already. Clearly, they are looking to finish out the year in a strong way.
When it comes to the Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen DLC, it stands to reason we could get some more information on the goals they set for themselves. They promise, “Enhanced gameplay. Expanded adventures. Enticing value.” The website states that the Nintendo Switch 2 version will contain both the base game and the DLC in one. The Dark Arisen Expansion will be separate DLC for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam.
When it comes to Onimusha: Way of the Sword, while we have seen quite a bit of the game, I am curious what Capcom will spotlight. Onimusha is another game currently set to arrive during a jam packed September. Will Capcom move this to another month or is showing more of the game meant to ensure Onimusha wins the month?
It’s hard to wonder what will come for Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, but perhaps there will be some DLC we learn about. Will it be more cosmetics? More Monsters? Or perhaps some additional storylines? We’ll be looking forward to seeing what comes next.
