Among the plethora of announcements we got during the Wholesome Direct 2026, we got the release date reveal for the upcoming cozy exploration game Lou’s Lagoon. Developed by Tiny Roar and published by Megabit Publishing, take flight when Lou’s Lagoon launches on August 27th on PC, PlayStation 5, and XBOX Series X/S.

“Take to the skies in your trusty seaplane on a heartfelt adventure across the tropical Limbo archipelago. After receiving a distress call from Uncle Lou, you arrive only to find the islands in disarray and Lou nowhere to be found. Collect resources, help rebuild a community, and unravel the mystery of your uncle’s disappearance.”
Lou’s Lagoon is a cozy crafting and exploration game where you’ll fly over crystal blue seas to visit tropical islands, harnessing the vacuum power of the Swirler 2000 to gather resources, from scraps to unique flora and fauna, to craft goods and repair buildings. Meet each island’s inhabitants, from the Charneys in Tangle Bloom, the archipelago’s liveliest town, to Gleam Reef, to watch the Vooi move to the music of the tides.
With a range of customisation options across your character, seaplane, and base, you can make your time in Lou’s Lagoon entirely yours and bask in the sunny atmosphere of the Limbo archipelago.
