There were so many announcements over Summer Game Fest 2026 and the other showcases that we are still highlighting some of the bigger reveals! Speaking of which, we got the reveal trailer for MegaGum, a colourful action platformer with a candy coating coming to PC in early 2027.
Check out the announcement trailer for MegaGum below.
Revealed during The Mix Summer Game Showcase 2026, MegaGum is a 3D action platformer developed and published by N-Zone, the studio behind last year’s Chickenhare and the Treasure of Spoking-Beard. You play as Uja, a teenager drawn to the mysteries of the GUM Tower a gigantic living chewing-gum factory run by the Machiavellian owner, Mister Gum.
Using her gum-powered abilities and weapons, Uja must fight her way through hordes of Gummies, small gum creatures who are just as cute as they are chaotic. glide, fight, freeze the environment, and even walk on walls to climb the floors of the Gum Factory, each step getting Uja closer to uncovering the secret at the heart of this sickly sweet situation; a secret that Mister Gum will do anything to keep hidden.
“Behind its colorful and lively aesthetic, MegaGum explores themes such as loss, power, and the danger of promises wrapped in sweetness. As you explore the factory, the story unfolds through the atmosphere, characters, and level design, letting you piece together the truth at your own pace.”
MegaGum Key Features:
- A colourful world filled with secrets and danger.
- Unique mechanics are added on every new floor of the factory.
- Discover an asymmetrical co-op experience where each character has their own abilities and interactions.
- A story that unfolds through the atmosphere, characters, and level design.

The trailer for MegaGum immediately had us thinking of Sunset Overdrive, the XBOX exclusive action platformer that Insomniac Games released before going on to work on the Marvel Spiderman series. With its colourful environments and character designs, wacky gum-based abilities, and imaginative premise, MegaGum looks like a PS2-era action platformer made with modern tech and sensibilities.
With an early 2027 release currently slated, we’ll have to wait a while before we can get our sticky mitts on MegaGum, so we’ll keep our fingers crossed we get a demo before then.
MegaGum is coming to PC in early 2027.
