Stupid Never Dies Second Trailer

A second look detailing more gameplay of Stupid Never Dies was released. It went a little more into the story, revealing that around 98% of humanity was wiped out by monsters during a war before the monsters vanished back underground. These events are what lead to Davy the zombie trying to save Julia, one of the last remaining humans after she became frozen.

The video also details some of the bosses that Davy will be facing. From dragons and powerful demons to more unique looking bosses like a headless musician rider.

The trailer also showed that Davy won’t be completely alone in his quest, as others will be helping him upgrade and augment himself to better combat the monsters he faces. This includes getting food items from Bessie Burger to provide him with stat bonuses, visiting Acelino’s shop to equip the weapons and body parts he gets from defeated enemies as well as other shops and characters helping Davy in his quest in other ways such as training and informing him of powerful monsters.

Customization in Stupid Never Dies is looking to be quite extensive. Between its customization, punk rock horror aesthetic and it’s roguelike elements, it could be a fun take on the hack and slash genre.

There isn’t an official release date yet although we currently know they are aiming for a Fall 2026 release. Fall is looking like a strong line up for gaming this year. So let’s hope Stupid Never Dies can find it’s footing. The game will release on PC and PS5. You can already wishlist the game on Steam.

A lifelong gamer who enjoys playing on every platform. Eventually, I grew to love fighting games in particular and began to compete and even win competitions for some games, primarily the 2013 revival of killer instinct. Outside of gaming I also have aspirations of being a comic book artist with a few ideas of my own im developing in my head. When reviewing any game I try to keep my mind open and avoid nitpicking too much. It takes a lot for something to detract me from truly enjoying it so I may not focus on smaller details the way some others might do. I enjoy almost any genre, just don't ask me to play horror games or puzzle games.
