Earlier today, the French video game publisher Focus Entertainment released a short trailer to announce that they would be publishing Bradley the Badger, the irreverent 3D platformer being developed by Day 4 Night Studios.
Check out the announcement trailer below.
First revealed at The Game Awards last year, you play as the titular Bradley, an iconic platforming mascot who finds himself lost in strange worlds “inspired” by famous games. To break out of development hell, Bradley sets off on a quest to save his home, even if that means coming face to face with a revelation bigger than he could have possibly imagined!
The Bradley the Badger official website describes the game as “a love letter to games and the art of making them. It’s an action-adventure that blends exploration, traversal and mind-bending freeform puzzles, all brought to life by a story that turns the creative process into the adventure itself.”
Bradley has the Kit to help him on his adventure, a tool that gives our hero the power to modify unfinished assets just like a game developer. We already know about a handful of the options available to Bradley, including Transfer to possess and object, Copy to produce replicas of an asset, and Explosive, which… makes things blow up. We have also seen a few of the worlds the brave Badger will visit, seemingly inspired by games like Bloodborne, Cyberpunk 2077, and The Last of Us.

There is no other news from this partnership right now, but with Day 4 Night finding a publisher for Bradley the Badger, maybe we’ll see the game come to consoles alongside PC. We’ll just have to wait and see what this means for the mascot platformer.
Bradley the Badger is coming to PC.
