The latest Fire Emblem finally has a release date that fans of the series can count down to. Announced during the June 2026 Nintendo Direct, a new overview trailer for the game was shown, with September 17th, 2026, revealed at the end.
Check out the Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave release date trailer below.
Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave was announced during the Nintendo Direct last September as their one last thing. The game is set in the Dagdan Empire and appears to follow the structure of Fire Emblem: Three Houses, with multiple routes to pursue. It remains to be seen how much carryover there is between each route, but it’s cool to know that different stories intertwining is back.

The four characters the story is based around all join up in the tournament for different motivations. Cai, for instance, wishes to get his father out of prison. Meanwhile, Leda is out for revenge.
In between matches, you can recruit soldiers for your army or head outside of the city to explore dungeons, fight monsters, and bandits. You do, however, have a set amount of time, so you’ll need to choose wisely how to use your free time.
Pricing and Collector’s Edition

Pricing for Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave has been revealed, as well as a collector’s edition. The game will be available digitally on the Nintendo eShop for $69.99 MSRP, while physical copies will go for $79.99. If you’re looking for extra goodies in addition to the standard edition of the game, the collectors edition retails for $119.99, and features a steelbook case, a map of the Dagdan Empire, as well as art cards and an art book.
Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave releases for the Nintendo Switch 2 September 17th, 2026.
