A picturesque Pacific Northwest setting. A calm breeze. The gentle swaying of your boat as the modest waves lap against your hull. Your line cast, hoping to reel in dinner for the day. The distant screams of people on the nearby islands. The sounds of the undead gnawing on the face of some poor soul on the coast. Who here hasn’t dreamt of such a relaxing holiday? TinyBuild, the studio that brought you the Hello Neighbor franchise, seems to have had the same thought, as evidenced by the trailer reveal for their upcoming open-world zombie survival game, Last Harbor, at the recent Summer Game Fest.
Last Harbor tasks players with finding ways to survive and thrive on your floating safe haven while blood thirsty monsters (both dead and living) occupy the San Juan Islands of Washington State. You’ll be able to upgrade your nautical home base to catch your breath after surviving a trek into the post-apocalyptic wasteland for supplies. Perhaps you’ve made some friends with a pulse who are just trying to survive, like you. Can you trust them? Luckily, Last Harbor is co-op, so you can bring your real life (and obviously very trustworthy) friends into your own little slice of blood-stained paradise to help fend off those hungry for your flesh or your fish.

Sadly, Last Harbor doesn’t have a release date as of yet, but you can wishlist it over on its Steam page and start making fresh zombie survival plans with your friends now! Which one is the fearless runner? Who is the leader, calm in the face of gnashing teeth and roving gangs? Who is basically just a meat shield when things go down? What, I can’t be the only one who’s thought about this!? Check out the reveal trailer from Summer Game Fest and let us know if you’ll be popping on some Bobby Darin “Beyond the Sea” and enjoying tinyBuild’s take on the apocalypse.
