So much to see. And so much to play, especially as we just wrapped the Future Games Show Summer Showcase a few hours ago. Be sure to check out summary article of the all the announcements here. One game, out of many, caught my eye. And it was solely due to the fact that it was so…odd. But in a good. I’m talking about THE LIFT: Supernatural Handyman Simulator.
This unique title is coming to us from Fantastic Signals and tinyBuild. And while we don’t have a concrete date yet, THE LIFT: Supernatural Handyman Simulator is slated for a 2027 launch. This full three-minute deep dive, narrated by Ivan Slovtsov (Fantastic Signals’ Studio Director), provided an expansive view of the game’s content. I know – three minutes doesn’t seem like too much. But in the gaming showcase season, that’s long.
More on the Deep Dive
THE LIFT: Supernatural Handyman Simulator‘s deep dive, as mentioned, provide a much closer look at what we can expect to see with regards to gameplay. Slovtsov broke the core categories of “repairs” we’ll be making into three categories:
- Basic Mechanical & Cosmetic Repairs;
- Electrical Device Repairs; and
- “Boss Device” Repairs
So, we run from the basic, to the more complex, to the straight-up multifaceted and dense. Overall, the game appears to function from point-and-click interactive first-person perspective where you’ll be manipulating the objects around you to complete your repairs.

This one is definitely gonna leave us scratching our head at times, but I’m so looking forward to it!
THE LIFT: Supernatural Handyman Simulator, as we noted, is looking at a 2027 release to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. And here’s the best part – you can request access to the early playtest on the game’s Steam page. Playtesting, per the trailer, will be starting on June 14th.
Let us know in the comments below if this is a title that you’re looking forward to!
