Another Zombie Adventure: A VR Classic Brought to Life
Zombie games are a dime a dozen in 2026. Most strive to be more then their predecessors while others are simply trying to stay afloat in an ever shifting whirlpool that gaming has become. Zombies are nothing new after all. They have populated every aspect of the American entertainment system since they appeared more then three decades before.
Everything from blockbuster movies to expansive worlds meant to be explored has been infected by the undead at this point. But there in lies the question – can a game that has been done successfully in the past be revived with a whole new paint job? Arizona Sunshine seeks to answer that question.
Originally released as a VR game in 2016, Arizona Sunshine is getting a remake in the third person variety and it looks like a damn good time. Announced at the Future Games Fest today, the trailers looks as if it’s retraining all the charm that made it so great a decade ago with the added bonus of a little co-op mayhem to complete the package.
Sharpen your machete and grab your friends. Arizona Sunshine® brings its award-winning zombie apocalypse to explosive third-person action, featuring online and split-screen co-op, brutal combat, dark humor, and Buddy, your loyal zombie-chomping canine companion.
