We had a LOT of announcements just a short while ago at the 2026 Summer Game Fest. Rest assured – there was something for everyone. Including something for the Star Wars fans out there. Specifically, a new look at the official story of Star Wars: Galactic Racer.
So, we get a little more story now for this upcoming title. As we learn, despite being the founder of the Galactic League, Darius Pax does not hold true sway. That title belongs to Kestar Bool. As the Galactic League’s champion, he has continued to use his sway as the best racer to intimidate those who would challenge him. Darius, in order to maintain his control of the league, has enlisted the mysterious pilot known as Shade. While not much is known, we do know that Shade a serious bone to pick with the Bool family.
There’s a story! Which is more than can be said about other titles in the universe in racing video games. It’ll definitely be nice to have this back-drop provided as we tear around numerous locations in a galaxy. A galaxy far, far away.
Galactic Racer’s Launch
Star Wars: Galactic Racer is slated to be coming to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. But when might you ask? October 6th, 2026! Gamers can also pre-order today, including both the Deluxe Edition and Collector’s Edition.
