Among the many puzzle game announcements at the Thinky Direct 2026 showcase, we got a cornucopia of game reveals, release date drops, and more demos than you can shake a controller at! One that quickly climbed to the top of our list to check out was the time-looping adventure Hello Again, which, while not releasing until 2027, now has a demo available on PC via Steam.
Developed by Soup Island, a one-person indie developer who has been working on the game since 2021, Hello Again puts the player in the role of a bespectacled ferret who has been shipwrecked on the mysterious island of Meridiem. They soon discover that they are caught in a time loop, forced to repeat the same day over and over again. It’s up to you to explore forgotten ruins, befriend silly strangers, and solve time-bound puzzles if you want any chance to break the loop and leave this strange island.
