Among the over 60 trailers and announcements featured in the Six One Indie Showcase May 2026, we got the release month of June for Muri: Wildwoods, alongside an update to the game’s demo, available now on PC via Steam. Read our demo impressions for Muri: Wildwoods to learn more.
Check out the Official Release Window trailer for Muri: Wildwoods below:
Developed by indie studio Speldosa Interactive, Muri: Wildwoods is a third-person platformer where you play as a young Muri called Pelle on their first job as a cleaner. Supported by your team via Teamsqueak, Pelle must explore a mysterious island that has become infested by corruption. Use Pelle’s water gun to wash away the gross gunk covering the island and save the forest spirit, all while meeting cute critters, finding secrets, drawing sketches, and bringing colour back to the island.
The “Sun’s Out” update brings an overall visual touch-up to the Muri: Wildwoods demo, which will likely now be more reflective of the finished product, now set to release this June. Players can also look forward to new critters to meet and interact with, from petting to dancing!
There are more sketches for players to discover off the beaten path, and the option to open up the TeamSqueak chat and look back over messages, letting players get to know the rest of Pelle’s team better.

As a game we have been excited for since we first played it at Gamescom in 2025, it’s great to see Muri: Wildwoods looking all spruced up, ready for its release next month. Be sure to check back here at the GSC for the final release date!
Muri: Wildwoods will release this June on PC, with a demo available on Steam.
