Developer Clay Game Studio have revealed their new cosy rhythm adventure, Mirth Island which will launch later this year on all consoles and PC.
The game features duck, Dodo as he returns to his home, Mirth Island following the breakdown of his career. Once back on his home soil, guitar playing Dodo discovers that the theatre has been left in a ruined state and working together with his childhood friends, Vivi and Rita, they will work to restore it to its former glory.
In the game there will be plenty of rhythm-based minigames to play, more to come on those closer to release. The developer also promises cheerful music, wholesome sidequests and for a variety of other animal island natives.
This is a follow up to Mirth Melody, a free-to-play game that can be downloaded from Steam, where it has a Very Positive score from over 500 reviews. Be sure to check that out to get a flavour of what’s to come for Dodo’s adventure.
Mirth Island will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S (including Xbox PC and Play Anywhere) and PC (Steam) later this year. Players can wishlist on their chosen platform now. With Wholesome Direct, the industry’s cosy gaming showcase taking place on June 6, we may see more on Mirth Island just round the corner.
