The VR adventures of the brave mouse Quill are making their way to flatscreens, with the announcement of Moss: The Forgotten Relic, releasing on consoles and PC this Summer.

Developed and self-published by Polyarc, Moss: The Forgotten Relic unites the critically-acclaimed Moss and Moss: Book II into a single epic adventure, redesigned for a non-VR experience.

The Steam page for the game describes it as “an emotional and atmospheric adventure set in the pages of a living storybook, brimming with myth and ancient magic.

Guide a tiny but determined hero on a heartfelt journey of challenge, courage, and connection. Traverse a fallen kingdom, solve environmental puzzles woven into the landscape, and embark on a timeless adventure…“

Along with combining both previous Moss titles into one experience, the developers have also spruced up the game with enhanced visuals and performance, created new cutscenes, added a new Smart Follow Camera, included all Twilight Garden DLC, and more!

It’s great to see Quill and her adventures free from the confines of VR headsets, and allowing a larger audience to experience these great games without something strapped to their faces.
