The Caribou Trail is a short WWI adventure game about a regiment from Canada’s Newfoundland in the battle against the Turkish at Gallipoli. Many of the game’s achievements are straightforward during this linear experience, but they are nearly all missable at various points of the game. In this guide, we will show you where to unlock the highly missable Cliff Hanger achievement for exhausting all four dialogue conversations with Cliff. There is no chapter select in this game; if you miss the chance to unlock the achievement, you will need to replay the game till this point.

Cliff Hanger Achievement Guide
This achievement/trophy is very straightforward, but there are four specific locations where you need to speak with Cliff during the game. Most of the locations are easy to find, but it is possible to miss him. You must ensure you exhaust all dialogue, therefore using the dialogue options that extend the conversation till he has no more to say. Here are the four locations:
Location One
Right at the start of the game as you reach the beach. Head upwards towards the trench. Cliff will approach you and talk about Buddy. Make sure you use all dialogue options:
Location Two
The second time you can speak to Cliff is when you’re at the beach camp for the second time after visiting No Man’s Land. On the way to debrief the lieutenant, you will find Cliff here by the sign where the path splits. Again, be sure to exhaust all dialogue:
Location Three
The third opportunity is after Lonnie dies and you’re back in the trench. Once here, you want to head for Duckworth St in the trench and look for this section with many crates. Cliff is tucked away here. Talk to him about everything he has to say:
Location Four
Finally, towards the end of the game, you’ll be back in the trench once again in daylight. Head towards the trench kitchen. Cliff is here for your final conversation. Speak to him about everything, and that’ll complete the requirements for this achievement/trophy:
And with that, your achievement/trophy will unlock. Congratulations! And thankfully, you’ll never have to listen to Cliff once again.
