The Caribou Trail is a short WWI adventure game about a regiment from Canada’s Newfoundland in the battle against the Turkish at Gallipoli. Many of the game’s achievements are straightforward during this linear experience, but they are nearly all missable at various points of the game. In this guide, we will show you where to unlock the missable Added Flavour achievement for obtaining the stock cube and cooking with it. Fortunately, if you miss the chance to unlock the achievement can start a new game and unlock it early on.

Added Flavour Achievement Guide
This is unlockable at the very start of the game. After arriving at the beach, you’ll be shelled by the Turks. Once you regain control of Fisher in daylight, you’ll be able to locate the stock cube easily.
From where you regain control, move slightly down the beach and look for these stacked pallets. You can move inside them and find an item for a fellow soldier on this shelf (note, item already collected before screenshot taken):
Head back out of the pallet stack and turn right. Look for Cyril, who is sitting on the floor. Speak with him, and he’ll be thankful you returned the item, and he’ll hand you the stock cube:
Now, you need to continue the natural progression of the game to reach the section where you’re cooking with Lonnie and Gordon. When you’re able to add extra bits to your fish and brewis, add the stock cube to turn it a red colour. Erm, yum?:
And with that, your achievement/trophy will unlock. Congratulations!
