It looks like there’s another hit fighter on our hands as it was announced that Invincible Vs reached 1 million players within its first two weeks. Launched on April 30th, the game opened to positive reviews from critics and many fighting game die hards have claimed the game is very fun and with some fine tuning, could be an excellent entry level fighter similar to how Dragonball Fighter Z was.
In our own review we gave it a 7.5 saying “Although Invincible Vs has some rough spots, it overall succeeds where it needs to in a fighting game. The gameplay is fun, the netcode is good overall and the roster is a blast to play with along with solid presentation.”

While Invincible is one of the most popular shows around at the moment, many questioned whether a fighter was the route to go as it’s first major video game as the genre is still somewhat niche. Those concerns seemed to be laid to rest with a major milestone released in such a short time.
And while the game does have its issues, Quarter up has shown to be a very responsive developer and they already eliminated some things within the first few days of launch and are openly listening to player feedback. If this keeps up then Invincible Vs could have a very healthy lifecycle as a fighting game. Congratulations to Quarter Up and Skybound for the game’s success.
Invincible Vs is out now on Xbox Series platforms, PC and PS5.
