33 Immortals has released a major new update, adding Paradiso as the third and final world in its adaptation of Dante’s Divine Comedy. The update, which went live on the 5th of May, completes the progression from Inferno and Purgatorio and marks the final stage of the player’s ascent toward a confrontation with the Wrath of God. Paradiso shifts the tone of the game’s environments once again, this time drawing on brighter, more ornate interpretations of divine architecture while still maintaining the stylised, hand?drawn look that defines the rest of the game.
Each run through Paradiso supports 11 players and features two waves of Devotion Chambers, along with a hidden six?player secret chamber that can appear in any run. The update also adds a new roster of angelic enemies, including an Unique Elite, all designed to push coordinated groups further than previous encounters. The ascent culminates in the Wrath of God fight, positioned as the most demanding challenge in the game and building on earlier hints of divine intervention seen throughout the campaign.
Alongside the new world, the update delivers a broader set of quality?of?life improvements. Party?joining options have been expanded to make it easier for players to form groups or rejoin active runs, and matchmaking has been refined to reduce wait times and improve stability. Several interface elements have been adjusted for clarity, including improved prompts and cleaner navigation. The patch also introduces balance changes across weapons and abilities, part of the studio’s ongoing effort to streamline early access progression and respond to community feedback.
The Devs will be streaming the new update on the 6th of May, where players can jump in and try and help them defeat the Wrath of God.
