Life is Strange: Reunion brings back Chloe’s backtalk from Life is Strange: Before the Storm, allowing Chloe to out-sass many people we meet on the way.
There are three separate backtalk situations in the game, and here we will tell you the correct options which will each unlock an achievement/trophy. And by successfully completing all three on one save file, you can unlock a fourth – Sass Queen.
If you have made any errors with a backtalk scenario in your playthrough, you can replay the scene via scene select. Completing any you’ve made an error with will also count towards Sass Queen. The scenes where these scenarios take place are listed below.

Backtalk Dialogue Options; Sass Queen Achievement / Trophy
Backtalk Dialogue 1 with Noelle: Scene – Lying and Waiting
You’ll take control of Chloe in the bar sat next to Lucas. Exhaust all conversations with Lucas and Amanda who will help you with the backchat scene. After speaking to Amanda, Noelle will approach you to try to kick you out of the bar. The options you want to choose are:
Question 1: Space
Question 2: UVM
Backtalk Dialogue 2 with Joey: Scene – Times in Turtle
In the second half of the Times in Turtle scene, you will take control of Chloe in the main bar, leaving Max outside with Safi. Joey will be around the far corner, speak with him and others around the bar to gather information before getting the opportunity to interrogate him. The dialogue options you need are:
Question 1: I’m CardinalSin
Question 2: Bowling league
Question 3: Sic semper tyrannis
Backtalk Dialogue 3 with Ren: Scene – Chloe’s Decision
You’ll come back to the bar as Chloe to accuse people of their involvement in the Caledon protests and fire. Move left to see Ren sat down. Interact with his notebook (including opening it) as well as his bag with paint cans on the floor. Then speak with him once. After that, you’ll have the chance to interrogate him. The options you want to choose are:
Question 1: I’ll tell Noelle
Question 2: Red Paint Can
Question 3: Daddy Issues
After this he will thump the table and share his rage and you’ll learn something significant about the story.
And that is the final of the three backtalk scenarios complete.
