“Love Story” Life is Strange: Reunion’s Music List Revealed

life is strange

It’s just over a week to go until Life is Strange: Reunion arrives. If you’re a GSC regular you’ll know that we (I!)  are very excited about the finale to Max Caulfield and Chloe Price’s saga, following the great Double Exposure. Last week we got our first real gameplay trailer as the marketing campaign ramps up.

For those familiar with the franchise, you’ll know how much of an integral part the music plays to the experience. Chloe’s love for punk rock, Max’s quiet time reflecting with coffee shop-like relaxing vibes, or something more dramatic for the demise of Arcadia Bay, the soundtrack to Life is Strange hits.

Now, as part of an interview with music magazine NME, the game’s Music Supervisor, Ben Summer has revealed the track list calling it an “an ode to all of the Life Is Strange games”.

The soundtrack for the game will feature new music written for the game from Holly Humberstone and Etta Marcus. Humberstone’s ‘Embers in the Sky’ (if there was ever a Life is Strange-type song name award, we’d likely have a winner!) and Marcus’s ‘Let It Happen, Let It Go’ will be heard first in the game.

Marcus claims to be a fan of the series and said “To be able to write a song, and be a part of the soundtrack for the last chapter of such a special story that I grew up with, feels incredibly full circle.” I’ve just checked Spotify and neither track is available there yet.

Much featured artist, Tessa Rose Jackson is quoted as saying “It also felt like there was a lot of tenderness with the music this time around because at the core of it, Reunion is a love story”.

Life is Strange: Reunion Soundtrack

The full soundtrack is as follows:

  • Daughter – ‘Isolation’
  • Elora & Luciano Rossi – ‘Blood Moon’
  • Etta Marcus – ‘Let It Happen, Let It Go’
  • Foals – ‘Spanish Sahara’
  • Girl In Red – ‘I’ll Die Anyway’
  • Glenn Herweijer – ‘What’s in the Box’
  • Glenn Herweijer – ‘Where Is the Fire’
  • Holly Humberstone – ‘Embers In The Sky’
  • IDLES & LCD Soundsystem – ‘Dancer’
  • Lanterns on the Lake – ‘A Fitting Ending’
  • Luciano Rossi & Elora – ‘Blood Moon’
  • Luciano Rossi & Eva Liu – ‘Hold Your Nightmares Close’
  • Luciano Rossi – ‘Fall Montage’
  • Luciano Rossi – ‘Saying Goodbye’
  • Mark Underdown & Nick Hill – ‘Lost in the Meaning’
  • Nick Hill – ‘Hologram’
  • Nick Hill – ‘You Faded’
  • Sparklehorse & PJ Harvey – ‘Piano Fire’
  • Tessa Rose Jackson – ‘I Just Wanna Feel’
  • Tessa Rose Jackson – ‘I Miss You Baby’
  • Tessa Rose Jackson – ‘Past Life (Midnight Version)’
  • Tessa Rose Jackson – ‘Past Life’
  • Tessa Rose Jackson – ‘The Observatory’
  • Tessa Rose Jackson – ‘The Roadside’
  • Tessa Rose Jackson – ‘Through the Middle’
  • The Falling – ‘You Faded’

I don’t think I’m emotionally prepared for the climax of Max and Chloe’s story. Marathoning through their saga (again) in preparation for Reunion has cemented Max as one of the best game heroines out there, and I can’t wait to see what emotions the game and the soundtrack invoke.

If you’re wondering how Chloe is back if you killed her at the end of the original, be sure to check out how she’s alive. Will she die again? I guess that may well be in our hands as Life is Strange Reunion releases on March 26, 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
