Planet of Lana 2: Children Of The Leaf is filled with many puzzles that can have your brain spinning. If you are having issues with the box puzzle in Chapter V that’s where we come in. This guide will help you complete it with ease and help you make your way through the game.
The box puzzle we are referring to here is just a few minutes into Chapter V: The Enemy – The Ocean Rig. You will start the chapter by moving a box over with Lana to find Mui trapped. Once Mui is freed (purple, blue, blue, purple, green is the code to free her) you can begin to move Mui through the vents as you navigate the rig.
After a few simple puzzles you will get to a box that you need to use Mui’s special ability on to drop and then quickly run to it and have Lana activate it. Doing so will allow Lana to move the box around 1 direction at a time. The first time you encounter the box is quite simple as it is kind of like a tutorial on how they work. The very next room however is much more complex.
Solution
This puzzle will require you to get Lana up onto a higher level using the box while Mui helps move around a second box within the room. First things first you will want to jump down with Lana and then have Mui drop the box from high above so Lana can activate it and use it.
Next you will want to move Mui to the middle of the vent where there is a switch. This switch controls the box in the middle of the room and makes it move left or right. Move it to the right.
From here have Lana move her box to the right so that it is up against the other box.
Next move Lana’s box up so that it is pressed to the roof.
Now have Mui move the box on the floor back to the left.
Next have Lana lower the box so that it is now sitting on top of the lower box but on an angle, creating what looks like stairs.
Now you will want to climb up onto the top box and have Mui move the bottom box to the right. This will move both boxes and allow Lana to access the top section. Make sure you get a running start and jump across to the upper platform.
From here all you need to do now is move the top box in a counter clockwise fashion.
- Move it left to hit the wall
- Down to hit the floor
- Right to hit the lower box
- Up to hit the lowered section of the ceiling
- Right to hit the switch and activate the door
With the door now open you can move forward, flip the switch to let Mui out of the vent and continue on your way.
