Developer Dragonis Games, creator of the atmospheric story title, The Shore, have announced that their 2025 PC release, Necrophosis will be coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S later this year. If you’re a console gamer who liked games like Scorn, then Necrophosis should be one worth looking out for.
The ‘Lovecraftian’ horror has been a successful with players on Steam, with a ‘Very Positive’ review score from over 500 user reviews.
Announced via a Steam news article, the release for consoles coincides with the release of the game’s DLC, Subconsciousness. Packaging the base game and DLC together will see the Necrophosis: Full Consciousness release, essentially a complete edition of all the games content.
Necrophosis: Full Consciousness will release digitally on Steam, Xbox Series and PS5. PlayStation gamers can also purchase a physical copy of the game. The physical version of the game includes The Shore, which too is making its way to Xbox Series and PlayStation 5 this year.
