Tearscape

  • Developer & Publisher: NERDS TAKE OVER
  • Release Date: Out Now!
  • Platforms: PC

Have you ever wondered what Bloodborne would be like as a Game Boy Colour game? Well, wonder no longer and check out Tearscape, the 8-bit top-down adventure game inspired by Fromsoft’s 2015 masterpiece.

You are a hunter sent out by the Grand Mandate to hunt beasts throughout the lands, gathering Tears to level your stats and purchase resources. Starting with a simple sword, you’ll find a variety of new weapons, both melee and ranged, as well as a shield to help give you the edge in battle. Master the dodge roll and spacing needed to stay in the fight and not get caught out by a stray blade or claw.

Collect tokens that provide different buffs to augment your playstyle as you confront a vile menagerie of enemies and monstrous bosses. Interact with a curious cast of characters and deal with the consequences of your choices. You were forged to hunt; thus, the hunt begins.

Check out our Tearscape Demo Impressions for a more in-depth look at the game.

Horripilant

In Horripilant, you’ll have to fight, mine, and think your way through the depths of a forsaken dungeon in a dying world to face your god and become worthy.

Horripilant is a dark, incremental dungeon crawler that mixes idler, puzzle, and autobattler elements, with a grungey pixel artstyle and unsettling sound design that hints at the horrors that hide in the shadows. Incrementally gain and collect materials as you fight horrifying fiends, encounter bizarre characters, solve cryptic puzzles, and upgrade your gear to descend over 1000 floors of the dungeon.

Repeat, adapt, and survive. The depths need you, and you, them.

33 Immortals

  • Developer & Publisher: Thunder Lotus
  • Release Date: Out Now! (Xbox), 2026 (PC)
  • Platforms: PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One

Soon, PC players can join the throngs of Damned Souls over on Xbox in slaughtering demons and angels alike, with the co-op action roguelite 33 Immortals coming to PC this year!

Venture in defiance of God and lay waste to the denizens of the two available planes, Inferno and Purgatorio, from a growing selection of weapons, each with its own move set and abilities. Choose your Perks before each run, look out for powerful Relics while in the thick of it, and work together to ascend and face off against epic bosses.

Thunder Lotus has been doing a brilliant job supporting and improving 33 Immortals for nearly a full year, increasing the number of weapons to equip, adding difficulty modifiers, and constantly balancing and improving the overall experience. With the gates of Paradiso planned to release very soon, now is the time to jump into 33 Immortals!

CiniCross

  • Developer & Publisher: Hydrobates
  • Release Date: Out Now!
  • Platforms: PC

CiniCross basically takes Picross and shoves it into a roguelike framework – which sounds weird but as someone who loves both, it actually works pretty well. You’re racing against the clock to fill in grids while crawling through dungeon floors, grabbing power-ups, and fighting bosses that mess with your board. The dark pixel art vibe is a nice change from those bright, cheerful puzzle games, and there’s something genuinely stressful (in a good way) about trying to solve a 15×15 grid before time runs out.

That said, the demo has some pretty annoying quirks. No mid-run saves means if you’re an hour into a good run and need to stop, tough luck, you’re losing that progress. I also ran into lag spikes on the later floors, and some of the boss abilities feel less like “challenging puzzles” and more like “the game decided you lose now.” It’s creative for sure, and I’ll probably pick it up as I’m a sucker for a weird little roguelite, but right now it needs some polish before I’d fully recommend it.

Lost and Found Co.

  • Developer: Big Egg Inc.
  • Publisher: Gamirror Games
  • Release Date: March 6th, 2026
  • Platforms: PC

We cover a lot of hidden object games over here at Gamer Social Club. They’re perfect little bite-sized experiences between larger, more difficult titles, and it’s looking like Lost and Found Co will be just perfect for a chilled-out Sunday.

You play as Ducky, an intern at Lost and Found Co, and you need to travel around from place to place finding hidden objects for customers. A super simple premise that’s elevated by the world the game is set in. Lost and Found Co is run by Mei, a Goddess that’s sometimes a woman but most of the time an adorable (and irritable) little dragon. Ostensibly, we appear to be working to get her back to heaven – although I’m not sure how finding and serving drinks will manage that – but mostly we’re visiting beautiful cartoon locations and clicking away to find items and complete occasional side objectives.

It’s a super simple premise, and it’s executed wonderfully. The comic-style panels at the start and end of each story mission are gorgeous and full of character, and all of the locations have loads of optional interactive things to click on – like making an apple fall out of a tree to wake up a child or tipping a busker for his performance. Back at base, you can also unlock things to decorate your office and room, meaning if you need a break from hunting for optional sheep, you can still have a cute and cosy experience.

1348 Ex Voto

Ex Voto 1348 is an action-adventure game set in Medieval Italy. Ravaged by disease, times are tough, and the threat of raiders makes it even tougher. You play as Aeta, a young knight errant who is a journey to save her ‘closest one’, Bianca (voiced by Clair Obscur: Expedition 33’s Jennifer English).

The game is developed by Sedleo, a new game studio based in Italy and made up of an international team of just 15 developers. In Ex Voto 1348, the combat is inspired by historical European martial arts, allowing you to fight using both one-handed and two-handed combat.

The demo itself is about 20 minutes long, taking place at the beginning of the game, where the game’s tutorial and story setup begin. You’ll get to grips with the combat and learn about some of the main mechanics of the game.

Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection

  • Developer & Publisher: CAPCOM Co., Ltd.
  • Release Date: March 13th, 2026
  • Platforms: PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch 2

Monster Hunter Stories is the more story-focused turn-based RPG line in the overall Monster Hunter universe. This demo will show you exactly how the Stories line differs from the mainline entries in the Monster Hunter Universe.

Enjoy the vibrant and bright characters as they bounce off the screen, and amidst a story that is definitely a darker family drama around the edges. The demo itself is roughly 2-3 hours, although you could spend much longer with this one if you choose to 100% complete the monster hunting, side quests, and habitat restoration available to you throughout the demo.

For a more detailed review, check out our initial demo impressions.

A demo is available on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Switch 2.

Rubato

  • Developer: dconn
  • Publisher: Headcannon
  • Release Date: March 20th
  • Platforms: PC, PS5, Nintendo Switch

The year is 12,012. Multiquadrillionaire monopoly “GSSAI CO.” has been in power of the universe for centuries after a world-ending bioweapon was unleashed onto the masses. And now? Unknown celestial forces have destroyed the solar system. A weapons development program run by the Earth subsidiary of “GSSAI CO.” is progressing, and the world’s denizens are disappearing.

That is, until one man screws up a game of pool.

Rubato is an experimental, 2D physics-based take on the collect-a-thon genre, spread across five densely packed regions, from a huge bakery to the world’s most poorly planned city. Use your tongue to lick enemies and objects on your quest for “Planet Bits” to fix the solar system and save the world!

Demo available on PC and PS5.

Darwin’s Paradox!

  • Developer: ZDT Studio
  • Publisher: KONAMI
  • Release Date: April 2nd
  • Platforms: PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch 2

Darwin’s Paradox! is an adventure puzzle-platformer about the eponymous Darwin, an octopus that finds himself in a “fish out of water” situation, if you will. Ripped from the ocean and trapped within a vast industrial complex, you’ll have to make use of Darwin’s unique talents to help him escape the facility, dodging dangers and handling traps along the way.

Squeeze into tight spaces, turn handles, squirt ink, and of course, swim through perilous situations across sprawling levels full of puzzles, characters, and secrets. A blend of humour, intriguing narrative, and gameplay that is both fun and suspenseful, Darwin’s Paradox! is a must-try for any platformer fan.

Darwin’s Paradox! was one of 30 games we featured in our GSC Picks from Steam Next Fest article.

A demo is available on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Switch 2.

REPLACED

I’ve had my eyes on REPLACED for years. What started development in Ukraine and has, understandably, been extensively delayed is looking like one of the best indies of the first half of 2026. A cyberpunk 2.5D platformer with Akham-like combat and the intriguing story of the protagonist, R.E.A.C.H., an AI trapped inside the body of a human.

The 20-minute Steam demo solidified this as a day-one play for me. The demo included stealth, story, and combat sections in that ever-great Arkham combo and counter style. Looking absolutely gorgeous on Steam Deck OLED, I cannot wait to discover this alt-80s America in full when it arrives in mere weeks from now.

If you’re looking for something of this ilk to pass the time before we get REPLACED, may we suggest another solid 2.5D cyberpunk platformer from last year, ANTRO.

A demo is available on PC and Xbox Series S/X.

Sugar Shatter

  • Developer & Publisher: SpicyTrain Games
  • Release Date: April 2026
  • Platforms: PC

Sugar Shatter is a 2D breakout fighting game, where you hit a candy ball to break more bricks than your opponent. All 6 base characters and all 5 levels are included in the demo, as well as a short demo-exclusive story to play through in the campaign mode.

Choose between various game modes to play in versus mode, including classic, timed, capture, and a tutorial, and set your own time and point limits for each round. Try out each sweet-themed character and master their unique moveset to smash your opponents, and adapt to each arena’s hazards to become the Sugar Shatter champion!

A demo is available on PC.

Echo Generation 2

  • Developer & Publisher: Cococumber
  • Release Date: 2026
  • Platforms: PC, Xbox Series X/S

The Echo Generation 2 Demo is here, and Cococucumber has swapped the sunny suburbs of the first game for a grimy 1980s research lab. In the demo, you play as Sister M, a psychic kid trying to escape after her friends vanish into some corporate conspiracy.

The combat is completely different from the first game; there are no more traditional RPG fights. Instead, it’s a deckbuilder that only lets you carry ten cards into battle, many of which you find by exploring around the world. Like all good deckbuilders, you’ll actually need to plan elemental combos (stacking Burn effects to trigger damage bursts, breaking enemies’ shields by using certain moves, etc) instead of just pulling for the most damage per turn. There is a parry system, using a timed button press a la Paper Mario, which feels simple next to the card mechanics – and to be honest, I’m not sure if it made much difference to enemy damage numbers, but at least (in the demo anyway) you can retry bosses instantly if you mess up.

The voxel art still looks great; electricity crackles off dead mechs, and the environments have a weird, uncanny vibe. It’s less Stranger Things and more proper sci-fi horror.

The demo’s short, maybe an hour, but it proves the new direction works. I had a great time building little synergies with my cards. If the full game keeps the deckbuilding this crunchy when it launches on Xbox and PC, it’ll be worth picking up.

A demo is available on PC and Xbox Series X/S.

Wild Blue Skies

  • Developer: Chuhai Labs, VITEI BACKROOM Inc.
  • Publisher: Humble Games
  • Release Date: 2026
  • Platforms: PC

From the moment I saw the trailer for this game, I knew I had to play it! Wild Blue Skies is an on-rail shooter adventure arcade game developed by Chuhai Labs and Vitei Backroom Inc., and published by Humble Games. The reason I had to play it was that it looked and reminded me so much of StarFox. With no Starfox title in over a decade, we fans are looking for something that gives us that feeling, and for me, Wild Blue Skies hit that mark.

From the art direction to the animation, everything screams classic arcade energy. So, if you grew up playing Star Fox, you’ll immediately feel that nostalgic pull. The controls felt very familiar to those of the old Star Fox games. And yes, you can perform the iconic “barrel roll”!

In Wild Blue Skies, you play as Bowie Stray, the leader of the Blue Bombers. The demo features only one mission and caps it with a boss fight at the end.

A demo is available on PC.
