Ubisoft’s woeful handling of their once loved IP has been well documented recently. Huge cancellations of games including Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake, among others in their attempt to reconcile their development efforts has raised lots of concern from fans of their franchises. There’s some great series that have remained dormant for too long including Splinter Cell, Beyond Good & Evil – which apparently lives on – and more.
Fortunately, an icon appears to have survived. Announced at yesterday’s February 2026 PlayStation State of Play, Ubisoft are going back to their routes and releasing a 30th anniversary remaster of Rayman, which comes with a whole heap of extra playable and nostalgic content. Best of all, it’s out today, 13 February 2026.
The remaster comes with five full playable versions of the game, including the most well-known PlayStation version. This is alongside the Atari Jaguar, MS-DOS, Game Boy Colour and Game Boy Advance versions, that latter of which I remember fondly.
In the package are an incredible 120+ additional levels and a never before released prototype. To make this approachable to modern audiences, Rayman 30th Anniversary Edition will also have modifiers to make the game feel easier to progress including Max HP, infinite continues, as well as the option to unlock all levels and abilities. A rewind function will make those most challenging of sections an easier ride now too.
Like the best anniversary collections, there will be a wealth of nostalgic content including promotional artwork and posters, interviews and more to showcase 30 years of a platforming legend.
Rayman 30th Anniversary will launch on Switch, Xbox Series, PlayStation 5 and PC today for $20 USD.
