Will Gothic Remake Reignite the Past? We’ll Find Out Soon!

Gothic Remake

We first learned about the existence of Gothic Remake when it was announced during THQ Nordic Showcase 2025. There they showed off some of the IPs they acquired and what they planned on doing with them. Since then, we’ve seen several get released, to…less than stellar showing. To a point where some (me) are rightly hesitant, yet curious as to what the Gothic Remake will turn into.

Luckily, merely six months since the announcement, Gothic Remake gets a release date of June 5, 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S/X.

The team has been hard at work with ensuring that they are communicating their process as much as possible with the community in order to get us hyped. Not only did they have a demo for the upcoming remake, they’ve also been steadily releasing several ‘Making of’ videos on their YouTube channel!
