Despite its reveal alongside Silent Hill 2’s remake and Silent Hill f in 2022, very little is known about Screen Burn’s upcoming indie entry in the long-running psychological horror franchise, Silent Hill Townfall. Today, Konami has suddenly announced that the game will receive its own Silent Hill Transmission showcase event tomorrow.
Silent Hill: Townfall was originally revealed on October 19, 2022, at the Silent Hill Transmission event that featured the announcements of Bloober Team’s Silent Hill 2 remake, NeoBards Entertainment’s Silent Hill f, Genvid Entertainment’s Silent Hill: Ascension, and Christophe Gans’ recently released Return to Silent Hill film. This is the last time information was released for the game, which is coming from Stories Untold developer Screen Burn (formerly NoCode) and independent games publisher Annapurna Interactive.
Now, having delivered on most of the projects announced in that event over three years ago, Konami has revealed that fans will be getting a proper look at Silent Hill: Townfall tomorrow. A Silent Hill Transmission showcasing the game will air at 4pm PT/7pm ET/12am GMT (February 13), and will stream on Konami’s YouTube and Twitch channels.

It’s worth noting that this starting time aligns almost perfectly with the conclusion of Sony’s State of Play event, which will run before and is set to be over 60 minutes in length. Konami has previously held Silent Hill Transmission events following appearances in State of Play showcases, implying that the pattern is set to repeat here.
Either way, series producer Motoi Okamoto has established a desire to see Konami release yearly entries in the series, similar to Capcom’s streak of annual Resident Evil games from 2019 to 2023 (if you include Resident Evil: Village’s Shadows of Rose DLC). We’ll have a better idea of when to expect Townfall following this event.
Silent Hill: Townfall is currently in development.
