State of Play February 2026

PlayStation has announced that a new State of Play is on the way, featuring over an hour of new reveals and updates from PlayStation Studios, third-party developers and indies.

The showcase, which will air on February 12 at 2pm PT/ 5pm ET/ 11pm CEST, will be one of Sony’s longest showcases in a while. The publisher has also confirmed that PlayStation Studios titles will be in attendance, meaning fans might get a closer look at Insomniac Games’ upcoming Marvel’s Wolverine and Bungie’s upcoming extraction shooter Marathon which finally arrives in March, as well as the potential for new game reveals from one of the many teams.

Notably, the PlayStation Blog post announcing the event does not make any reference to titles for PlayStation VR2 joining the showcase. In the past, Sony would state this even if the game was also playable as a standard PS5 title, so it seems fans holding out hope for new VR game reveals should keep their expectations low going into this one.

The State of Play will air on PlayStation’s YouTube and Twitch channels with English audio and optional Japanese subtitles. Are you excited for the State of Play? Come and join the Gamer Social Club Discord to chat about what you want to see and keep up with all the announcements from the show!
