With the gaming year in full swing, release dates are starting to trickle in and the landscape for 2026 is becoming clearer. With a big third-party year expected on Nintendo’s family of hardware, more will be revealed at tomorrow’s Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase.
The roughly 30-minute direct will take place on 5 February 2026 at 6am PT / 9am ET / 2pm GMT (UK). Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 games will be featured.

Where to Watch Nintendo Partner Direct
The Nintendo Partner Direct will be hosted on YouTube or you can watch via the Nintendo Today! App on your smartphone.
Nintendo haven’t confirmed which games will feature at the showcase, though we know Borderlands 4 will certainly not be there as development on the Switch 2 has been “paused”. Other possible titles for the show include Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition which was indefinitely delayed last year, or the much anticipated and also delayed, Mina The Hollower. The last Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase took place in August 2025 and featured Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment, as well as Switch 2 ports of Cronos: The New Dawn and Star Wars Outlaws among others. Typically the Directs feature games that are not long from being released so we may well some shadow drops.
We’ll be back tomorrow with a report of all the games featured, as well as all the trailers.
