While we await for Xbox to announce the newest additions to Xbox Game Pass tomorrow morning, we know of at least one that will be listed as Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza In Hawaii has shown up on the app. And even better, it is available to play now!
Sega’s latest entry in the Yakuza/Like a Dragon series launched last February to rave reviews. A much smaller experience in comparison to the other games in the series, you play as Goro Majima in a spin-off of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. Goro is a pirate who is trying to make his way to Hawaii.
In our review of the game we gave it an 8.5 saying “All in all Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is a great package much like just about every other game in the franchise is. It shows that RGG can still add to the old formula while keeping things enjoyable and they make a great case for Majima taking a more staring role in future games, especially if Kiryu’s arc is done after the events of Infinite Wealth. I hope for a Majima/ Ichiban team up in the future and that it’s the most wild entry in the franchise yet.”

The game appears to be apart of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium and Game Pass on PC. Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii dropping into Game Pass comes on the heels of the Xbox Game Pass X account seemingly teasing that Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will also be announced for the service tomorrow.
Preview of Tomorrow’s Announcements
With the shadow drop of Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii tonight and the expected addition of Avatar, that makes up 4 announcements we now know for sure when it comes to tomorrow’s Game Pass announcement. We already know that Menace will be dropping into the service on February 5th in Game Preview.
Also the highlight of the month should be High on Life 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the funny, crazy High on Life from Squanch Games. I’m sure there will be others as well, and we only have a few more hours to wait and find out.
