Code Vein 2 Drops a Brutal New Trailer Showing Off Its Fiercest Boss Yet

Bandai Namco has released a fresh trailer for Code Vein 2, and it might be the most striking look at the sequel so far. The footage focuses on the One-Armed Resurgence Offspring, a massive blade?wielding creature that looks set to become one of the game’s early standout bosses. Its sweeping attacks and constant pressure will feel instantly familiar to anyone who played the first game.

The sequel launches on the 30th January 2026 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC, and it’s shaping up to be a sharper, faster take on the anime?soulslike formula. The trailer leans into the improved combat, with quicker dodges, heavier hits and a stronger focus on reading enemy behaviour instead of trying to tank through fights.

The environments shown so far range from flooded ruins to eerie forests and lonely islands, suggesting a more varied world design. The sequel also builds on the series’ signature systems, including Blood Codes, companion?driven combat and the ability to drain blood from enemies to unlock powerful abilities.

With each new trailer, Code Vein 2 looks less like a simple follow?up and more like a confident step forward. If this latest footage is anything to go by, fans should be ready for a stylish, punishing and surprisingly emotional return to the world of Revenants.
