Over the festive period, 007 First Light was unfortunately delayed a couple of months from March 2026 to its new release date of 27 May 2026. The exciting Bond action adventure from esteemed Hitman developers, IO Interactive is one of the most anticipated releases of the first half of 2026 and featured in our 35 Games to Watch for in 2026.
With car chases, stealth sequences and big shootouts, there’s a lot of Hollywood Bond action on offer with First Light – you can watch gameplay here. There is hope from developers IO Interactive that 007 First Light may be the first in a trilogy of new Bond games, featuring a younger, more currently relevant agent.
Allowing gamers plenty of time to get their setup ready for launch, the developer have now released the minimum and recommended PC specs for the new game which you can see below.

007 First Light Minimum PC Specs
To run the game at minimum settings – 1080p / 30fps, players will need to have 16GB or RAM, 8GB of video RAM, alongside either a NVIDIA GTX 1660 or AMD RX 5700 graphics card.
007 First Light Recommended PC Specs
Meanwhile, to run at recommended settings at 1080p / 60fps, you will need to have 32GB or RAM, 12GB of video RAM, alongside either a NVIDIA RTX 3060 Ti or AMD RX 6700 XT graphics card. The game will also take up 80GB of storage space.
007 First Light releases on 27 May 2026 on PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), Switch 2, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.
