It’s finally here! After a lot of online discussion about GOTY, and playing a whole load of amazing games throughout the year, The Game Awards are upon us. As usual, Geoff Keighley took us through the awards with a smattering of game trailers, new reveals, epic theatrics, and, of course, “world premieres”.

Don’t worry if you missed something, or you want to go back over the announcements, we’ve got them all below! So let’s not waste any time and get to the good stuff!

The Game Awards 2025 – 11 December 2025

Where possible, we’ve included all announced platforms, trailers (where available), and information on demo availability and release dates.

“Opening Act” (Pre-Show)

The Free Shepherd (PC, PS5)

A new shepherding game where you play as a very good boy.

It will release in 2027.

Decrepit (PC)

Decrepit is a first-person action game with souls-like combat where every death drags you back into the depths. Learn the dungeon, master the combat, and find your way out of the forsaken castle.

Audio Mech (PC)

Your music paints the world, and controls the action. Each of the Mech’s three forms [Bass Knight, Vocal Gunship, and Treble Bomber] react to any audio. Yes, even streaming.

Guild Wars 2: Visions of Eternity (PC)

Set sail for Castora! Guild Wars 2: Visions of Eternity, our sixth expansion, takes place on a magical island fraught with mystery and danger. Tyria’s leaders are anxious about rumors of covert Inquest voyages launched in search of Castora, an island so remote that it’s long been thought to be inaccessible—or even nonexistent. Your race to discover the Inquest’s plot will lead you across two new open-world regions at launch, each filled with magical energies and strange creatures.

Escape from Duckov (PC)

Escape from Duckov is a PVE top-down looter-shooter game—in a duck’s world!. Scavenge for resources, build your hideout, and upgrade your gear in the world of Duckov. Start from nothing and rise to the top. Outwit hostile ducks, survive, or make it out alive.

Pragmata (PC, PS5, Switch 2, Xbox Series)

Capcom’s newest IP—PRAGMATA. An all-new Science Fiction action adventure with its own unique hacking twist! It is the near future, and protagonists Hugh and his android companion Diana, must work together as they make their way through the cold lunar research station.

It releases on 24 April 2026. A demo is available on Steam now.

Solasta II (PC)

In a Mana-infused land, a dark force led by the enigmatic Shadwyn threatens Neokos. Bring your party of adventurers together across perilous realms in this Turn-Based Tactical RPG based on the SRD 5e ruleset. You make the choices, dice decide your destiny.

It enters early access 12 March 2026.

TankRat (PC, PS5)

A dying world, flesh given way to steel. Swarms of corrupted mech-monsters roam a desolated land. Search and destroy, scavenge and dismantle, rebuild yourself from the wreckage. What you take becomes what you are. Survive the wasteland. Make it to Highpoint.

Bradley the Badger (PC)

Stupid Never Dies (PC, PS5)

“Main Event”

Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic

Developed by Arcanaut Studios in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games, Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic is a new single-player narrative-driven action RPG and spiritual successor to Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.

Led by Casey Hudson, Game director of the original Star Wars: Knight of the Old Republic and the Mass Effect trilogy, the team of veteran game developers and storytellers at Arcanaut Studios is crafting an epic interactive adventure across a galaxy on the brink of rebirth where every decision shapes your path towards light or darkness.

John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)

Gear up, drag your friends into the chaos, and show the Sludge God the true meaning of kick-ass-explosive-over-the-top action

It releases on 12 March 2026.

Divinity

Brand new from Baldur’s Gate 3 devs, Larian Studios.

4:Loop (PC, PS5)

4:LOOP is a four-player co-op shooter set in an original sci-fi universe. Experiment. Improvise. See if you can beat the odds.

Coven of the Chicken Foot (PC)

After the dungeons have been plundered and the monsters all killed, an elderly witch quietly gets to work. In this emotionally-rich, stylized, single-player adventure – Gert will need to build a bond with a peculiar creature if she’s to fulfill a coven’s oath.

Ontos (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)

What begins as a search for answers quickly spirals into something far stranger. As you delve deeper, guided by fragments of your father’s past, you must confront disturbing revelations about the nature of reality- and your place in it. Your beliefs will be questioned, and you will be pushed far out of your comfort zone.

Zenless Zone Zero (Android, iOS, PC, PS5, Xbox Series)

Zenless Zone Zero is a free-to-play action role-playing game developed and published by miHoYo.

2KXO (PS5, Xbox Series) – already available on PC

The free-to-play fighting game releases on consoles on 12 January 2026.

Resident Evil: Requiem (PC, PS5, Switch 2, Xbox Series)

Requiem for the dead. Nightmare for the living. Prepare to escape death in a heart-stopping experience that will chill you to your core.

It’s releasing on 27 February 2026.

Order of the Sinking Star (PC)

In development from Thekla, Inc., and led by legendary, award-winning game designer Jonathan Blow behind critically acclaimed puzzle games, The Witness and Braid, Order of the Sinking Star is a huge and innovative puzzle game that’s been in the making for 10 years since the release of The Witness.

Exodus (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)

EXODUS™ is a sci-fi action-adventure RPG from Wizards of the Coast and Archetype Entertainment, a studio founded by award-winning RPG veterans behind Mass Effect, Baldur’s Gate, and STAR WARS: Knights of the Old Republic. Face humanity’s evolution 40,000 years in the future, explore extraordinary worlds, and confront time itself to shape the fate of generations.

It releases in early 2027.

Warlock: Dungeons and Dragons (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)

WARLOCK is an original, third-person, single-player action-adventure game. It takes place in a dark fantasy open world inspired by DUNGEONS & DRAGONS. Developed by Invoke Studios, the game places players in the role of Kaatri, a veteran warrior who makes a pact to wield otherworldly magic against dark powers.

It launches in 2027.

Screamer (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)

High-octane action and anime aesthetics collide in this arcade racing game, featuring fighting mechanics and a storyline that hits hard. In this world, some race for glory while others seek power or revenge. Every race is a fight and every battle is personal.

It releases on 26 March 2026.

Control Resonant (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)

Explore a warped Manhattan on the brink of paranatural annihilation in this thrilling action-adventure RPG. Unleash the extraordinary powers of Dylan Faden as he fights for his humanity and survival against a reality-bending cosmic threat.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight (PC, PS5, Switch 2, Xbox Series)

Tomb Raider: Catalyst (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)

The legendary Lara Croft returns in Tomb Raider: Catalyst, the next all-new entry in the Tomb Raider series.

It will be released in 2027.

Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)

Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is a stunning reimagining of the 1996 genre-defining game.

Orbitals (Switch 2)

The Seven Deadly Sins Origin (PC, PS5)

Lords of the Fallen II (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)

Super Mario Galaxy

Nioh 3 (PC, PS5)
