Mouse P.I. For Hire Launches in 100 Days

The launch of one of the most eagerly anticipated indies of early 2026, Mouse P.I. For Hire is rapidly approaching. Originally pegged to launch in 2025, but pushed to early-2026 in October, Mouse P.I. For Hire will release on March 19 2025.

It is a very exciting title that we have been keeping tabs on for some time at Gamer Social Club. Back in late-2024 we said that this “is the shooter you don’t know you needed in your life”; and everything shown about the unique title since than has been just as promising. The game which draws its inspiration from 1930s cartoons and looks very much like Disney’s Steamboat Willie, has attracted interest for its gameplay and art style / direction.

With only 100 days to go until the game releases, the developers marked the milestone on X (Twitter):

During Summer Games Fest in August, it was revealed that videogame voice over legend, Troy Baker would be voicing the game’s protagonist, Detective Jack Pepper.

If you’re not sure what to expect with Mouse P.I. For Hire, the developers shared a deep dive documentary on YouTube a couple of months ago which showcases Detective Pepper’s weapon arsenal, incredible artistic vision and more:

Mouse P.I. For Hire launches on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Switch 1 and 2, and PC on March 19.
