Welcome to our achievement guide for Thank Goodness You’re Here!, available on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and on PC . This guide will show you how to easily unlock the Spill the Beans achievement for kicking a man when he’s down.
Spill the Beans Achievement Guide
This achievement / trophy is highly missable and will be one of the last achievements you can unlock in the game. If you miss the opportunity during your playthrough you will need to replay almost the entire game.
To get this achievement, you will need to have already unlocked the Everything Must Go achievement, as the requirements of that achievement are a prerequisite for Spill the Beans. Thus, this guide will tell you how to unlock both achievements.
We begin very early in the game when we first enter Barnsworth’s main town square. Head southwest past Meg’s butter shop to find Nick trying to pull a shutter up:
Give the shutter a few good whacks and it’ll roll up, revealing the plot of his soon-to-be business:
About halfway through the game, we will come back to the townsquare and we need to see Nick again. You’ll come back to the town square via the pub’s pipes, you will know you’re at the right point in the game as the barman is speaking with the town crook as you arrive:
As soon as you can leave the pub, head back to Nick where he will have a frail looking brick wall. Give that a few whacks:
And by doing so, you’ll have helped him open his second hand furniture business!:
And with that, you will unlock the Everything Must Go achievement. We now continue on to unlock the Spill the Beans achievement / trophy.
This achievement is unlocked at the very end of the game. You will be sent on a task to get soup for a Barnsworth resident who doesn’t want to get out of bed. We will go around the town assisting their incredibly long arm to reach items for the soup. Then we will head back to the main town square to give them their soup. Do not proceed into their house to give them the soup. Instead, head back to where Nick has opened his shop.
Inside the shop is a lonely man eating a tin of beans. Simply walk up to him and punch the beans out of his hand. That wasn’t very nice now, was it?
