Octopus Adventure, Darwin’s Paradox! Gets Gameplay Trailer

Originally revealed during the February 2025 PlayStation State of Play, octopus platforming adventure, Darwin’s Paradox! finally has a full gameplay trailer. And it’s shaping up to be quite a promising 2026 title!

Developed by ZDT Studio and published by Japanese giant, Konami, the platforming adventure sees us play as Darwin the blue and orange octopus, on an adventure that looks almost Pixar-like.

In the new 3-minute trailer we get to see many of the places where we’ll travel to as Darwin including industrial complexes, underground sewers and some eye-catching cityscapes.

With gameplay that looks very similar to the Little Nightmares or Oddworld series, Darwin will travel through some challenging and high-threat encounters including avoiding fishmongers, camouflaging through the ocean and mysterious complexes, and more.

Darwin has many octopus abilities at their disposal including blowing ink to create a smokescreen, fast swimming and more. The adventure will be full of puzzles to solve as well as troublesome creatures to escape from. The gameplay on show in the new trailer looks very exciting indeed.

Darwin’s Paradox! release date and platforms
